Ever wanted to learn how to decorate a cake?! Julia’s Just Desserts is here to help! In this 1.5-hour class, I'll cover the basics to decorate you very own mini cake (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with buttercream, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate cake, and cover the general concepts around cake and buttercream! Everything you'll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).

You will be stacking, crumb coating, and decorating your very own 4” cake.

This class is for the beginners or for the person who is just wanting to decorate a cute mini cake. If you have limited experience with cake, found yourself frustrated with buttercream or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We’ll be decorating a a 4” mini cake.

I provide everything you will need from the cake, buttercream, sprinkles, and a box to take your cake home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 2 cake layers, buttercream, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cake class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

This class is on November 16, 2024 and starts promptly at 12:30pm and ends at 2pm so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - just make sure to buy a ticket for every person, we have a limited amount of seats available.

This class is good for all ages! However, it can be a little fast paced and buttercream can be a bit harder to squeeze out of the piping bags, so if you think your kiddo will get more frustrated than have fun, this might not be the class for them. I do ask if your child is under 12 they must be accompanied by an adult and the adult must also purchase a ticket.
